Back to Back… Tyler Ankrum, driver of the No. 18 LIUNA Chevrolet Silverado RST heads to Texas Motor Speedway coming of his second NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) career win at Rockingham Speedway. Ankrum and the No. 18 team played the fuel strategy just right and were able to save enough fuel to knock out the top two spots for the San Bernardino, Calif. native to lead the closing laps to the checkered flag. The Rockingham effort bumped Ankrum up to third in the NCTS point standings and scored him a spot in the 2025 NCTS Playoffs. The young driver looks to go back-to-back and score another trip to Victory Lane in Texas.
Texas History… The driver of the No. 18 LIUNA Chevrolet has eight previous NCTS starts at the 1.5-mile quad oval where he has scored one top-five and four top-10 finishes with a best of third coming back in 2019. Texas did not treat Ankrum so well last season in 2024 but he is looking to take this momentum forward and improve on that finish to score a solid run this Friday night in Fort Worth.
Spoiler Highlights…This Friday at Texas, LIUNA Contractor Hayden Wrecking will adorn the left-side spoiler of the No. 18 LIUNA Chevrolet Silverado RST for the 167-lap event. Hayden Wrecking is a full-service demolition, dismantling, asset recovery, concrete saw cutting and coring company with the people, equipment and expertise to tackle every type of project including the most complex and demanding in an expedient, safe and cost-effective manner with the highest quality results.

Tyler Ankrum Quote:
“Heading to Texas coming off a win feels great. We finally were able to close the race how this No. 18 team deserves and we are more than motivated to go knock down a few more wins before the playoffs. Texas was not that great to me last season so we really need to improve on that and have a good qualifying run to set us near the front to start the night. I am confident that we can roll out another solid finish and hopefully be in contention to get this No. 18 LIUNA Chevrolet back into Victory Lane.”
