Back-to-Back … Jake Bollman returns to Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway on Saturday night looking to go back-to-back for the first time in his ARCA Menards Series West (AMSW) career. The driver of the No. 19 NAPA Auto Care Chevrolet SS notched his first-career victory on May 24th at Colorado National Speedway (CNS) after winning from the pole and seeks his second victory in Saturday’s NAPA / NAPA Nightvision 150. Bollman is red hot with two straight pole awards at CNS and Tucson Speedway, along with a pair of podium finishes. The 18-year-old made his second AMSW start in Kern County, Calif. in 2023 and has multiple late model starts at the high banked half mile.

The Next 100 … Bollman’s breakthrough victory at CNS noted BMR’s centennial milestone with the organization’s 100th AMSW points paying victory. The NAPA / NAPA Auto Parts 150 is the beginning of the team’s quest for the “next 100” as Bollman seeks BMR’s seventh victory at the Bakersfield, Calif. short track. This weekend marks tour’s return to Kern County in 2025, as it hosted the series kickoff in January with Daniel Hemric capturing the pole award in the No. 19 NAPA Auto Care Chevrolet. Bollman looks to continue his hot streak with a third-straight pole, and the second-consecutive for BMR at Kern County, as he pursues his second career victory.

BMR in Bakersfield … The California desert has been BMR’s playground over the years since the state-of-the-art short track has been on the AMSW slate. BMR teams have graced victory lane six times at Kern County, all of which came in succession from 2016-2019 courtesy of Todd Gilliland and Derek Kraus.

Jake Bollman Quote:

On returning to Kern County as an AMSW Winner: “Our NAPA Auto Care team has a lot of confidence coming into the weekend. We’ve been qualifying well the last couple races, running up front, and it felt great to execute and get a win at Colorado. That was a major accomplishment for Bill (McAnally), everyone at BMR, and extra special to get NAPA’s 100th anniversary paint scheme in victory lane. Hopefully we can do it again this weekend at Kern County. It’s one of the fastest short tracks we go to, and our cars have had good speed the last few weeks. I feel really good about going into Kern knowing I’ve been there before and have some experience. We’ll try to put that to use on Saturday and stay up front all night.”
