The Big “Mo” … Connor Mosack returns to New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) for the NASCAR Trucks Series’ (NCTS) return to the track in eight years with momentum at his back. The driver of the No. 81 F.W. Webb Company Chevrolet Silverado RST has posted the best back-to-back finishes of his rookie season and hopes to continue that wave on Saturday afternoon. The North Carolinian rookie contender recorded his second-best finish of the season last week with a seventh at Bristol Motor Speedway and finished 13th at Darlington Raceway the week prior. Mosack looks to extend his momentum and tally his first top-five of the season this weekend at “The Magic Mile”.
Back in the Granite Planet … While the NCTS ends an eight-year absence from New England’s one-mile oval, Mosack has experience at NHMS unlike many in Saturday’s field. He competed in the NXS event in Loudon, N.H. back in 2023 during a 24-race slate that season. Mosack has had success on flat one-mile ovals similar to NHMS, including a pair of top-10’s at Phoenix Raceway in the ARCA Menards Series and an eighth-place finish in last year’s NCTS finale in the desert.
Season to Date … Mosack bolstered his stat line over the last two weeks and has now recorded three top-10 finishes and a pole award through 20 races this season. He’s lowered his average finish to 18.4 and seeks to recorded three-consecutive top-15 finishes for the first time this year at NHMS.
Tune In … Action gets underway from New Hampshire at 4:00 p.m. ET on Friday afternoon with practice and qualifying on FOX Sports 2. On Saturday, FOX Sports 1 takes over live coverage with the green flag at Noon ET. Stay connected with the No. 81 F.W. Webb Company team by following @BMR_NASCAR on Twitter, @bmr_nascar on Instagram, and Bill McAnally Racing on Facebook.
Connor Mosack Quote:
On carrying momentum into NHMS:
“It feels good to have a little consistency on our side now. We’ve had a good mix of strategy and speed to put together some good finishes lately. I felt like we did a really good job managing the night at Bristol with old tires in the middle of the race and that put us in position to be even on tires in the last stage. We might see some of those types of calls at New Hampshire this weekend. It can be a difficult place to pass, so whatever you need to do to get track position might make your day. Hopefully we can unload with some speed with our F.W. Webb Company Chevrolet on Friday and carry that into Saturday. It’s great to have them on board again in Loudon and would be even better to put them in the top-five at the end of the weekend.”
