Mosack’s Weekend Derails Early in Loudon

NCTS Point Standings Position: 14th

Connor Mosack’s weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway came to an abrupt end on the opening lap on Saturday afternoon and resulted in a 36th-place finish. The driver of the No. 81 F.W. Webb Company Chevrolet Silverado RST was involved in a multi-truck accident in Turn 1 on the opening lap which caused terminal damage and ended the team’s afternoon right at the start.

Mosack had put together a solid Friday with a strong race pace in practice and posted the 11th-fastest lap in qualifying. His prior experience at “The Magic Mile” had the team optimistic for a third-straight top-15 effort. As the field dove into the first corner, the No. 15 truck spun in front of the field, directly into Mosack’s lane as he turned to the apron to avoid the wreck. After crew chief Blake Bainbridge and the F.W. Webb Company team diagnosed the damage, Mosack was forced to retire from the event and was credited with a 36th-place finish.”

Connor Mosack Quote:

“Super unfortunate to have our day end right as it started. I hate it for this team and everybody at F.W. Webb Company. The truck looked great and we had some good pace in practice. I felt like we were going to have a solid day, but just had nowhere to go when the No. 15 spun back down in front of us. We’ll put it behind us and get ready for the ROVAL in a couple of weeks.”
