Three to Go … Jack Wood, driver of the No. 91 Adaptive One Calipers Chevrolet Silverado RST heads down to Talladega Superspeedway for the Friday afternoon NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) event in Alabama. With just three races to go in the 2025 season, Wood is still standing strong, hunting down his first win and a few solid top-five finishes to end the year. The 25-year-old battled a ton of adversity in his first full-time season with McAnally Hilgemann Racing between bad luck and unfortunate injuries but this No. 91 team has kept their heads held high and continued on the momentum to stay in contention for top finishes every week.
Superspeedway Racing … Friday’s start in the Loves RV Stop 225 will mark Wood’s fourth start at the 2.66-mile tri-oval superspeedway. The Loomis, Calif. native has not run at Talladega since 2023 but he is looking forward to getting back and brushing off the dust come qualifying Friday morning. His best finish came also back in 2023 where he pulled a 14th-place effort out of the day. The young driver has a total of seven career superspeedway starts between Talladega and Daytona International Speedway.
Tune In … Television coverage on the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series event will begin Friday morning with qualifying starting at 11:30 a.m. CT on FOX Sports 2 followed by the green flag for the Loves RV Stop 225 at 3:00 p.m. CT on FOX. Jack Wood Quote:
“With just three races remaining, our main goal is to just go out there and collect solid, clean finishes. This team did not have the year they deserved but there is still time to have some good days and have fun out there. I am looking forward to getting back to this track as I have not run there in a few years, but superspeedway racing is always a fun challenge for me. Talladega is a tough track to predict what can happen so we really want to go out there, stay out of the mess and help our playoff trucks as much as we can to push them to the final four.”
