| Reunion 10+ Years in the Making … The Bill McAnally Racing team is fielding a third entry at Sonoma Raceway on Friday afternoon, featuring a reunion with former ARCA Menards Series West (AMSW) race winner Patrick Staropoli. Now in his rookie season in NASCAR’s “Saturday Series”, Staropoli made nine starts between the AMSW and ARCA Menards Series East for team owner Bill McAnally from 2013-2015. The Plantation, Fla. native delivered one of the most tremendous stories when he parlayed the Peak Stock Car Dream Challenge promotion into his first AMSW victory at Irwindale Speedway in 2014. Now more than a decade later, Staropoli is back behind the wheel of the No. 20 American Cattle Company / Tractor Supply Chevrolet to prepare for his first national NASCAR series start at Sonoma Raceway. Road Course History … The first road course event of the AMSW race of the season provides Staropoli a perfect opportunity to refine his road racing craft alongside BMR teammates Mason Massey and Hailie Deegan. Friday afternoon’s 47-lap affair marks the Floridian’s first AMSW road course start, his first at Sonoma Raceway and just his fifth overall between the ARCA Menards Series platforms and NASCAR’s national series. In the tour’s most recent outing in Sonoma’s wine country, Christian Eckes piloted the team’s No. 19 Chevrolet to a second-place result, in a thrilling three-car duel for victory. Staropoli, Massey, and Deegan look to combine for BMR’s first win at the road course just 83.5 miles from the team’s race shop in Roseville, Calif.
