Hailie Deegan finished 16th in the Kyle Busch Classic at The Bullring at Las Vegas after running inside the top-10 early and overcoming a flat tire and rear-right damage during the 151 lap event. Deegan led the fleet of Bill McAnally Racing cars starting in the fourth position. The outside didn’t get moving on the start and she quickly dropped back to sixth by lap four. She worked her way up to fifth on lap 11 before falling to seventh by lap 16 as she continued to work through an outside lane that was difficult to navigate.

Deegan maintained seventh through the lap 34 caution and returned to sixth on lap 49 after the restart. She remained sixth when the caution came out on lap 69, but right rear damage led to a flat right rear tire and put her a lap down for the lap 81 restart in 17th. Deegan climbed her way back up to 11th by lap 146, before this time a right front tire went flat bringing out a late caution on lap 149. The Temecula, Calif. native worked through two overtime restarts to cross the line in the 16th position.
