| Tricky Tri-Oval… Mason Massey and the No. 19 NAPA Nightvision team travel to West Richland, Wash., this weekend for the sixth race of the ARCA Menards Series West (AMSW) season at Tri-City Raceway (TCR). The low-banked, 0.5-mile oval is one of the most unique tracks on the schedule, featuring just three turns. Saturday’s NAPA Auto Care 150 Greg Biffle Memorial honors Washington native and NASCAR Hall of Fame nominee Greg Biffle. Both Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) entries will carry Biffle’s iconic number font as the organization honors the NASCAR legend with a strong performance in front of the Washington faithful. Team Triumphs… BMR has made six starts at the Washington short track dating back to 2003. The organization recorded three top-10 finishes in its debut appearance before returning to TCR in 2024 when Jack Wood delivered a podium finish. Jake Bollman improved on that result last season, leading the most laps and finishing second last August. Massey enters the weekend with experience on similar half-mile ovals, including an 11th-place finish at Martinsville Speedway in 2024. He’ll look to build on BMR’s recent success at TCR and add another strong chapter to the team’s history at the three-turn oval. Season to Date… Massey enters his first TCR start with plenty of momentum in his first season with BMR. Through five AMSW starts, the driver of the No. 19 NAPA Nightvision Chevrolet sits second in the championship standings, 20 points out of first place. The Douglasville, Ga. Native has recorded one victory, four top-five finishes, and four top-10s while completing every lap contested. Massey opened the season with a his first-career victory at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway, leading 31 laps, and has remained a consistent contender ever since with additional top-five finishes at Phoenix Raceway, Shasta Speedway, and Colorado National Speedway. Tune In… Streaming coverage from West Richland, Wash. begins Saturday night at 11:00 p.m. ET on www.FloRacing.com for the NAPA Auto Care 150 Greg Biffle Memorial at Tri-City Raceway. Mason Massey Quote: “Colorado wasn’t quite the weekend we were looking for from a speed standpoint, but everyone on this team continued to work hard and make improvements throughout the weekend. We’re focused on carrying that effort into Tri-City and starting the weekend on a stronger note. This is a new track for me, which is always exciting, and hopefully we can have the speed that this team had last year. I have a lot of confidence in this No. 19 team and know we’ll have a fast NAPA Nightvision Chevrolet when we unload.” |
