NASCAR Truck Series Hits High Banks Of Bristol
• MHR Aims To Build Momentum, Finish Season Strong
ROSEVILLE, Calif. (Sept. 14, 2021) – NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers will tackle the high banks of Bristol Motor Speedway on Thursday, in the UNOH 200 presented by Ohio Logistics.
The race under the lights at the historic half-mile Tennessee track leads into a busy span for the series, as the first of three events in 17 days.
Derek Kraus, driver of the No. 19 IncredibleBank /Kafka Granite Toyota Tundra, and his McAnally-Hilgemann Racing team aim to build momentum through the three races – as the series winds down its 2021 schedule. They are working hard to finish the season strong and build momentum for next year.
Kraus has competed in several races at Bristol. He raced there twice in NASCAR’s ARCA Menards Series East – finishing sixth in 2019 and 24th in 2018. As a rookie in last year’s Camping World Truck Series race there, he ran as high as second before finishing 15th.
IncredibleBank – which serves as the primary sponsor on the MHR Toyota Tundra this week, along with Kafka Granite – made its inaugural appearance with the team in last year’s Bristol race.
Following Bristol, the circuit heads to Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sept. 24 and to Talladega Superspeedway on Oct. 2. The season will then be capped off with an event at Martinsville Speedway on Oct. 30 and the championship race at Phoenix Raceway on Nov. 5
Derek Kraus – About this week
What are your thoughts as you prepare for Bristol?
“Bristol can be a very humbling track. It requires total focus to be fast and stay out of trouble. We plan to avoid trouble and have our IncredibleBank /Kafka Granite Tundra in contention for the win this week.”
