Roseville, Calif. –Bill McAnally Racing Promotions has set the stage for some great racing as the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West heads to BMR’s home track in Roseville, California for the NAPA AUTO PARTS “150” presented by Ace Hardware and Incredible Solutions on Saturday October 12th. Also that night will be the Late Model Fall Classic “Matt Camp Memorial Twin 52/52” and the INEX Legends race events.

Bill McAnally Racing will field three additional entries for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West NAPA AUTO PARTS “150” making them four strong for the event.

Driving the No. 55 NAPA Filters/NAPA Brakes Toyota Camry will be Michael Waltrip. This will be Waltrip’s first start at All American Speedway. He has made seven previous starts in the series and recorded a win in 1997 at Pikes Peak International Raceway.

Driving the No. 20 Ray Scheidts Electric/Cobe Construction will be the 2013 World of Outlaws feature winner in Antioch and 2012 Ocean Speedway Sprint Car Champion, Shane Golobic.

“I am looking forward to being a part of the BMR team for the next couple of K&N West races,” said Golobic. “I am excited to work with my crew chief Trip Bruce over the next couple weeks and I hope to learn from him in the process. I am confident that we will have a strong run next weekend in Roseville and I am excited and ready for the opportunity.”

Driving the No. 99 Peak Toyota Camry for s second time this season is the PEAK Stock Car Dream Challenge winner Patrick Staropoli. He showed at Spokane County Raceway that he is more than ready to pilot a BMR prepared Toyota Camry in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. He recorded a top-five finish in his NASCAR debut and looks to put the No. 99 Peak Toyota on the podium at AAS.

“Roseville is a home game for Bill McAnally Racing and I’m really happy that Bill invited me back out to compete for him after our top-5 debut in Spokane,” said Staropoli. “Not only do I get to pilot the PEAK Motor Oil/BlueDEF hot rod in the NASCAR K&N series, but also a BMR late model in the Matt Camp Memorial Twin 52/52l. It’s going to be 254 laps of racing in one night, and I’m looking forward to every single one of them!”

“We are thrilled to sponsor PEAK Stock Car Dream Challenge winner Patrick Staropoli in the No. 99 PEAK BlueDEF Toyota in his second K&N West race this weekend,” said Bryan Emrich, Senior Vice President of Marketing for PEAK.  “Throughout the PEAK Stock Car Dream Challenge program, we were able to see Patrick’s passion for the sport and his unwavering drive to succeed.  We were very proud of Patrick’s fifth place finish in his K&N West debut in August and are looking forward to watching him pilot both the hot rod and Late Model at the All American Speedway.  Patrick’s journey is only beginning and PEAK is proud to be a part of it.”

Rounding out the four is the three-time champion, Eric Holmes piloting the No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry. Holmes’ record includes four wins in the series last nine visits to All American Speedway giving him and the NAPA Toyota team the record for the most West Series race wins at the Roseville, California short track. He finished in a close second last season at AAS and led 87 laps.

“I’m really excited about Roseville,” said Holmes. “It’s a track that BMR has a lot of success at. It’s been a rough year for the NAPA Toyota team and winning a fifth time at our home track is something we will be working hard to accomplish.”

With over 500 laps led at All American, look for Holmes and the No. 16 NAPA Toyota team to be once again running out front. BMR would like to thank our fans and race partners for their support.

BMR will be fielding three entries in the Late Model Fall Classic “Matt Camp Memorial Twin 52/52”. Piloting the No. 3 Toyota will be KCRA 3 ace reporter, Brian Hickey. He has made several starts racing a Late Model Toyota at AAS. His first start came back in 2009 when members of the media got behind the wheel of a stock car, competing in the special media event on the third-mile oval. Hickey started from the rear and then one-by-one picked off his competitors to take the checkered flag in the A-All Mini Storage Media Blitz 100, presented by Comcast.

Piloting the No. 16 Toyota will be Tripp Gaylord, son of retired West Series driver Scott Gaylord. The eighteen-year old driver hails from Golden, Colorado where he races NASCAR and IMCA Modifieds. He has several wins under his belt driving Modifieds with a win recently at Stockton 99 Speedway.

Rounding out the field and doing double duty piloting the No. 99 Toyota is Patrick Staropoli. He will be running back and forth from the West Series Toyota to the Late Model Toyota.

I’m grateful to be doing double duty. It’s going to be a blast!!” added Staropoli.
