About Iowa Speedway:

Iowa Speedway is a state-of-the-art 7/8 mile asphalt paved tri-oval race track and motorsports facility located in Newton, Iowa, 30 miles east of Des Moines, Iowa. The track is owned and operated by U.S. Motorsport Corporation and designed by former NASCAR Champion Rusty Wallace, now an anchor and analyst for ABC-TV/ESPN. Iowa Speedway is designed for year-round use and includes 30,000 permanent grandstand seats. It was designed as the first track in the world to protect fans and drivers through the use of SAFER barrier technology surrounding the entire perimeter of the track.

About Lebanon I-44 Speedway:

Lebanon I-44 Speedway was built by Bill Williard and opened in May of 1983 as a dirt track and remained dirt until the conclusion of the 1988 season. The track was paved in 1989 and became a member of the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series family and stayed paved until after the 2002 race season.  From 2003 thru the 2009 season, the track went back to dirt. The track reopened in 2010 as an asphalt paved track and is now one of the finest racing facilities in the Midwest.

Notable was the statistic that over ¼ of the Daytona 500 field in 2005 had race at one time or another at the speedway. Nationally know drivers such as Tony Stewart found the speedway to their liking while drivers such as Mike Wallace and Jamie McMurray used the track to vault their careers.
