Hayden Pedersen Piloting the No. 16 BMR Late Model
Bill McAnally Racing is pleased to introduce the newest member of the BMR racing family. Hayden Pedersen is piloting the No. 16 BMR Toyota in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Late Model Series. The eighteen-year old driver from New Zealand will be running for BMR’s third track championship title at our home track of All American Speedway in Roseville, California.
“It’s really good to be racing in the Late Model Series at All American Speedway,” said Pedersen. “This is my first year driving in the states and turning left on the ovals. I really want to do well and work towards my goal of racing in one of NASCAR’s elite series.”
Pedersen has been racing for four years garnering two national carting titles in New Zealand. He also drove one season in New Zealand’s Formula Ford Series and one year driving in the V-8 Touring Car Series. So far this season at All American Speedway, Pedersen has recorded 3 top-five finishes in three races.
“I’m looking for my first win,” continued Pedersen. “Driving the No. 16 which has had so much success at All American is an honor. Pervious drivers have set the bar high but I’m looking forward to meeting the challenge.”
