K&N Pro Series West Hits Midway Point Of Season
• BMR Drivers Have Wins; Looking For More
ROSEVILLE, Calif. (July 7, 2015) – The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West hits the midway point of its season when the circuit visits Stateline Speedway in Post Falls, Idaho for the NAPA AUTO PARTS / Toyota 150 on Saturday.
Both Bill McAnally Racing drivers, Chris Eggleston and Brandon McReynolds, have visited Victory Lane in the first half of the season and look to add more wins down the stretch run.
Eggleston has scored two victories in the No. 99 NAPA Belts & Hoses/H2O Fire Protection Toyota, with wins at Irwindale (California) Speedway and Shasta Speedway in Anderson, California. He leads the championship standings by nine points and has four top-five and five top-10 finishes in six starts.
The Erie, Colorado native – who will be making his first visit to the quarter-mile Stateline Speedway – is coming off a 13th-place finish at Sonoma (California) Raceway in the only road course event on this year’s series schedule.
McReynolds, meanwhile, captured a major win earlier this year in taking the No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota to Victory Lane in the K&N Pro Series East-West combination race at Iowa Speedway in Newton. The 24-year-old from Mooresville, North Carolina is ninth in the championship standings. In addition to his victory, he has three top-10 finishes.
McReynolds, who finished third a year ago at Stateline Speedway, is coming off a 19th-place finish at Sonoma, after a last-lap incident.
The NAPA AUTO PARTS / Toyota 150, the seventh event on a 13-race schedule, will be televised on NBCSN on July 16. It marks the fourth series visit to the Idaho track.
There are a variety of activities planned with NAPA leading up to the race. A special pancake feed will be from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the District main store. A luncheon is slated from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the District Post Falls store. And at the speedway on Friday evening, VIPs will receive rides around the track in the NAPA two-seater and a barbecue. The local NBC affiliate is slated to be on hand conducting television interviews.
At the race on Saturday, there will be a NAPA VIP area where McReynolds and Eggleston will make a special visit.
