ROSEVILLE, Calif. (June 19, 2018) – The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West will visit Sonoma Raceway this week for the only road course event on this year’s series schedule.
The Carneros 200 on Saturday marks the circuit’s annual visit to the beautiful wine country of Northern California. The race is part of the big NASCAR weekend at the 1.99-mile road course that also features a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event on Sunday.
Sixteen-year-old Derek Kraus will lead the charge for Bill McAnally Racing in K&N West action at Sonoma. He is fourth in the championship standings, with three top-five and five top-10 finishes this year. He is coming off a sixth-place finish at Colorado.

She is second in rookie points and seventh in the overall championship standings. She has two top-five and five top-10 finishes – including a fifth-place finish at Colorado.
Deegan is slated to join Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers featured at Sonoma Raceway’s annual media luncheon at Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco on Thursday.
The Sonoma weekend will feature an opportunity for NAPA guests to get an inside look at the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series garage area, with BMR providing special VIP pit tour on Saturday morning. NAPA guests will also have access to view the race from the NASCAR suite.
