Three Entries for BMR at PIR

The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West teams from Bill McAnally Racing are heading to Phoenix International Raceway for the series 2013 season ender. The Casino Arizona “50” will be on November 9th as part of an exciting race weekend including the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, the NASCAR Camping World Series as well as the NASCAR Nationwide Series beginning on November 7th.

The BMR team’s effort will be made up of three drivers including Shane Golobic, Chase Briscoe and Brandon McReynolds.

Driving the No. 99 Peak/T-REX Toyota Camry will be Chase Briscoe. The eighteen-year old who hails from Mitchell, Indiana is best known for racing a sprint car. This will be his third start for BMR. His first start for BMR was at NAPA Speedway last month where he finished in eighth place.

“I am absolutely stoked to race at Phoenix!” said Briscoe. “It is going to be a great experience racing with the top three divisions of NASCAR. Phoenix is one of my favorite races to watch and to be able to race there in the T No. 99 Peak/T-REX Toyota Camry for Bill McAnally Racing has me super excited.”

Shane Golobic, will be driving the No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry. This is Golobic’s third start for BMR with his first being at BMR’s home track of All American Speedway. This will be his first start piloting the familiar Blue-and-gold NAPA Toyota.

I have grown up watching the best racers in NASCAR race on the Phoenix International Raceway track and I am excited to race there as well! I have gained a lot of experience and confidence over the past two races in Roseville and Kern County and I can’t wait to put the No. 16 up front! I can’t thank Bill and the rest of the BMR team enough for the opportunity to drive the No.16 NAPA Toyota.”

Brandon McReynolds will be making his second NASCAR K&N Pro Series West start at the 1-mile tri-oval in Phoenix, Arizona on Nov 9th. He will be driving the No. 20 NAPA Filters Toyota Camry. In 2012 McReynolds had two ARCA starts recording a win at Talladega and a K&N East start finishing third at Dover. McReynolds ran a limited schedule for 2013 in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and recorded a fourth place finish at Dover. McReynolds is the son of former crew chief and current race analyst Larry McReynolds.

The Casino Arizona “50” will be on November 9th and televised on Sunday, November 17th at 9am Eastern Time on Fox Sports 1. Check your local listings. The event will also be covered live with lap-by-lap coverage on the NASCAR Home Tracks website.
