Location: Kansas City, KS
Track Description: 1.5-mile tri-oval
Distance: 134 laps, 201 miles (7:30 p.m. ET, FOX Sports 1, SiriusXM)
Season to Date… Tyler Ankrum, driver of the No. 18 LIUNA Chevrolet Silverado RST heads out to the Mid West to Kansas Speedway for his 11th start at the 1.5-mile tri-oval. The young driver is coming off another top-five finish at Texas Motor Speedway where he battled an immense amount of adversity to solidify his sixth top five of the season. The 24-year-old had finished in the top five for the last five races straight, including a trip to Victory Lane at the infamous Rockingham Speedway. These efforts currently have the drive of the No. 18 sitting in the fourth position in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) point standings. Ankrum looks to continue on this hot-streak at Kansas and come out on top.
MHR Kansas History… McAnally-Hilgemann Racing (MHR) is returning to Kansas with a total of 20 NCTS starts as a team. This four truck all-star camp has scored one win (Christian Eckes, Fall 2023), five top-five and 11 top-10 efforts along with a pole position ran by Christian Eckes in the Spring of 2023. MHR looks to carry this high momentum that they have performed at this track into this weekend to score some more solid results across all four trucks.
Spoiler Highlights… Ankrum and the No. 18 team are excited to welcome aboard LIUNA local contractor Realm Construction Inc. to adorn the left-side spoiler of the No. 18 LIUNA Chevrolet Silverado RST for the Saturday evening event. Realm Construction, Inc. is a woman owned construction company specializing in Concrete Paving, Full Depth Concrete Pavement Repair, Slip-form Concrete Paving, Sidewalk, Curb and Gutter, Bridge Approaches, Pervious Concrete, Stamped/Colored Concrete and Reinforcing Steel.

Tyler Ankrum Quote:
“Kansas has not been too good to me in the past and it is not a track I particularly rave about but I love the challenge. I am onto my best season in my years in the truck series so far and it is because I have such hard working people behind me that see the potential this team has. If we can take the speed and momentum that we have been carrying along with fixing those small mistakes, I know we will be able to tackle any track, especially Kansas and come out on top. I am ready to turn my luck around there and hopefully have the chance to be in contention for a top-five finish, or better yet, another trip to victory lane.”
