Raising the Bar … Daniel Dye heads to Pocono Raceway after his best-career result in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) with a second-place finish at Nashville Superspeedway (NSS). He scored a massive 48-point effort in “Music City” to gain 23 points on the provision cut line and closed to within 14 markers of the final playoff position. The driver of the No. 43 Champion Container Silverado RST sits in the 11th position in the NCTS point standings with three races remaining in the regular season in hopes to score back-to-back top-five results for the first time in his career at Pocono.

Breakout Year … Dye has delivered some impactful performances in his sophomore season. The Floridian has improved his average start and finish from his rookie year by nearly six positions, and has an average finish of 14.2 after 13 races. Dye has five top-10 finishes this season with one runner-up result at NSS, which completed the second one-two finish in MHR’s history. His success in qualifying has directly led to him being in the center of the playoff battle. He has started 10th or better in seven events with one pole position award in Atlanta Motor Speedway. Dye finished 17th at the “Tricky Triangle” last season, but owns a top-five finish in the ARCA Menards Series at Pocono in 2022.

Points Pursuit … He currently sits 11th in the point standings with a total of 330 points. In Nashville, Dye earned 13-stage points to his total of 48-points on the day. In eight races this season he has managed to earn 25-points or more. After 13 of 23 events, Dye currently sits five positions higher in the point standings than he did a year ago. He’s totaled one top-five, five top-10’s and has scored five finishes of 12th or better in the last seven races.

Daniel Dye Quote:

On heading to Pocono:

“Super pumped to get to Pocono in our Champion Container Chevy. Coming off a second-place finish we feel really confident and have a great opportunity in front of us to race our way into a playoff spot. All of our teammates have been performing really well and we all want to continue that this week. Our No. 43 team just has to continue doing what’s got us to this point. It’s been a lot of fun lately and I think we’re capable of being towards the front again on Friday.”
