Bettering the Best … Daniel Hemric enters the final road course event of the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Trucks Series (NCTS) season at Lime Rock Park looking to improve on his stout road racing record. The driver of the No. 19 CRC Brakleen Chevrolet Silverado RST has been a force on the road courses this season with the best average finish in the series; 4.7 over the first three races in 2026. The North Carolinian challenged for the victory at Coronado Naval Base on June 19th and finished second, his best result of the season, and recorded a top-five at Watkins Glen International (WGI) in May. Hemric and the CRC Brakleen team look to parlay their success into a visit to Lime Rock Park’s victory lane in the final road course feature of the 2026 season.

“Can’t Wait to Get on the Road Again” … Hemric can’t wait to get back on the road in Connecticut, and for good reason with finishes of eighth, fourth and second in the three road and street circuit events this year. Not only have the final results been stout, but Hemric has tallied his two highest point totals of the season at WGI and Coronado Naval Base – 43 and 35 points, respectively. Hemric collected his first stage victory at “The Glen”, continuing an impressive track record on the road with MHR. In his six road course races behind the wheel of the No. 19 since 2025, Hemric has delivered remarkable consistency with three top-five’s and five top-10 finishes, including a pair of runner-up results. Hemric looks to translate his historic reliability into his first-career road course victory on Saturday.

Season to Date … The thrilling finish that yielded a second-place finish for Hemric in San Diego gave him breathing room on the provisional cut line, now 35 points above and eighth in the standings. Hemric has two top-five’s and five top-10 results to his credit along with one stage victory through 13 races this season.

FOX Sports 2 begins coverage at 9:00 a.m. ET with FOX Sports 1 (FS1) taking over at 9:30 a.m. ET. Race coverage goes live on FS1 at 1:00 p.m. ET Saturday afternoon. Daniel Hemric Quote

On continuing his road course success at Lime Rock:

“Our team has done a great job of preparing for the road courses and definitely improved our Chevrolets this season. This No. 19 team, [crew chief] Kevin Bellicourt and all the guys, put in a tremendous amount of effort at San Diego fixing our primary after practice and still had good pace, enough to race for the win. We want to be in a similar position this weekend at Lime Rock. We’d love to cash in with the speed that we’ve had. Qualifying well with our CRC Brakleen Chevrolet will be critical. We didn’t see a whole lot of passing at Lime Rock last year, and I’d expect track position to be just as valuable this time around. Appreciate everyone at MHR, NAPA Auto Care, Gates Hydraulics, Chevy, everyone who puts effort into this team. Hopefully we can take another step towards the ‘Chase’ this weekend and race for a trophy.”
