Driving for a Payout … The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) begins the busiest stretch of the season on Friday night at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) as Daniel Hemric seeks a big payout. The No. 19 Chevrolet Silverado RST is featuring the hometown colors of South Point Hotel & Casino at LVMS, a paint scheme well-known in “Sin City”. Hemric is driving for his first victory of the season and hopes to bank a playoff position with MHR’s first victory at LVMS. Such a triumph would be poetic as team owner Bill McAnally’s ARCA Menards Series West race team was based on LVMS’ property in the early 2000’s when hometown hero Brendan Gaughan raced for the organization.

Solid Start … Hemric’s return to NCTS competition with crew chief Josh Graham is off to a solid start as the duo currently sits sixth in the championship standings. The former NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) champ has led laps in both races this season, one of only four drivers to do so, and has been in contention for victory in each event. A seventh-place finish at Daytona International Speedway and a furious charge at Atlanta Motor Speedway that resulted in a 16th-place finish worth 25 points have given Hemric a strong foundation to the 2025 campaign.

Vegas Odds … Hemric has come within a single number of taking the pot at LVMS. Between his two prior NCTS starts and 11 NXS races in Las Vegas, he has a runner-up in each series. Hemric has led 38 laps in NCTS competition at LVMS with two finishes of sixth or better. His NXS exploits in Vegas have been equally impressive with four top-five’s and eight top-10 results, including three podium runs in 11 races. Five starts in the NASCAR Cup Series underscore his resume at the diamond in the desert and looks to capture his first LVMS victory on Friday night.

Tune In … Action from “Sin City” begins at 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 2 with practice and qualifying. Coverage switches to FOX Sports 1 for the green flag at 9:00 p.m. ET. on Stay connected with the No. 19 South Point Hotel & Casino team by following @BMR_NASCAR on Twitter, @bmrnascar on Instagram, and Bill McAnally Racing on Facebook.

Daniel Hemric Quote:

On racing at Las Vegas:

“Now that the two drafting races are behind us, Vegas is the start of the true test for the season. I’ve always enjoyed racing at Las Vegas, and how can you not with South Point Hotel & Casino on the truck. I’ve had a great relationship with them for many years, and Bill has a great story and history with them also, so that’d make a win even more special. I’ve been close to victory lane before, so hopefully we can qualify near the front and stay up there all night.”
