No Limit to Potential … Connor Mosack’s season is back on track as he makes his first trip to Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) on Friday night. The driver of the No. 81 Friends of Jaclyn Foundation Chevrolet Silverado RST shook the bad luck two weeks ago at Rockingham Speedway and tallied a season-best ninth-place finish. Mosack completed a stellar outing for MHR at Rockingham, as all four entries finished inside the top nine. With a top-10 result under his belt, there are no limits to Mosack’s potential, as crew chief Blake Bainbridge and the No. 81 personnel recorded a sixth-place finish at TMS in 2024.

Texas Debut … Despite having 18 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) starts and 28 NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) races on his resume, Mosack has yet to make an appearance at “No Limits, Texas”. However, the North Carolinian has shown an aptitude for racing at the fast, high-banked 1.5-mile tracks in his young career. He has delivered three of his five NCTS top-10 results on 1.5-mile tracks last season at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Kansas Speedway, and Homestead-Miami Speedway. Mosack also notched his first-career NCTS pole award earlier this season at Atlanta Motor Speedway and led a career-high 28 laps. In addition to his NCTS and NXS experience, Mosack also owns two ARCA Menards Series victories at 1.5-mile tracks.

Season to Date … Mosack’s recent ninth-place finish gained him two positions in the NCTS drivers’ point standings, up to 18th and close to entering the playoff conversation. Through seven of 18 regular season events, Mosack is well within range of the cut line, 54 points out of 10th.

Tune In … On-track activity begins at 2:30 p.m. ET at TMS with practice and qualifying with race coverage beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1. Connor Mosack Quote:

On making his first start at Texas Motor Speedway:

“Texas is one of the few places that I haven’t been to, but I’m confident in getting up to speed pretty quickly once we’re on track. Turn 1 and 2 will be where you make most of the gains and where most everyone puts the most emphasis. I think we’ll have a good package with our Friends of Jaclyn Foundation Chevy. We’ve had a lot of outright speed, and it was nice to overcome the hurdles we faced at Rockingham to finally get a top-10. Now we can start building on that and hopefully keep gaining points on the cutline and make a run at the playoffs starting at Texas.”
