The Tricky Triangle Awaits … Jack Wood, driver of the No. 91 Adaptive One Calipers Chevrolet Silverado RST is off to the Pocono Mountains for only his third start at the 2.5-mile tri-oval, Pocono Raceway. The Loomis, Calif. native has not competed at “The Tricky Triangle” since 2022 and is seeking out better results. Wood has not had the best of luck at Pocono getting collected early in the events but the young driver is taking what he has learned over the past 13 runs this season and is looking forward to applying it all this weekend at Pocono.
Season To Date … The No. 91 team has had a tough go-around this 2025 season but are ready to regain focus and stay in contention to lock themselves into the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) Playoffs. The young driver has had many impressive qualifying efforts throughout his 13 starts this season but unfortunately gets pulled into the bad luck pool starting at Race one, Daytona. By Bristol, the team had sights to their first top 10 of the year that came one run later at Rockingham with a seventh-place hard-fought finish. Having a break after the six-week stretch has allowed the 24-year-old and his team to regain the confidence they need to go punch their ticket into the first round of NCTS playoffs with five races remaining.
Tune In … Television coverage on the Miller Tech Battery 200 will begin Friday afternoon with practice & qualifying starting at 12:35 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 2 followed by the green flag will at 5:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1. Jack Wood Quote:
“Pocono has not been very kind to me in the past but I am going to take those past efforts and capitalize on them for a better result this weekend. I think this team defiantly needed a break to catch our breath, regroup and regain the focus we need to be able to go out there and make our way into the playoffs. With only five races to go, there is no room for error, and I am going to do my best to make sure we come out on top each and every race from here on out.”
