First Timer … Jack Wood, driver of the No. 91 Adaptive One Calipers Chevrolet Silverado RST heads out to Michigan International Speedway for his inaugural NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) career start at the 2 mile D-shaped oval. On tracks measuring 2 miles or greater in length, the Loomis, Calif. native has totaled nine NCTS career starts. Wood and the No. 91 team are looking to make a statement in the “Irish Hills” this Saturday afternoon with a stout result to put them back in contention for a playoff spot.
Michigan History … McAnally Hilgemann Racing (MHR) only has one previous start as an organization back in 2020 with Derek Kraus rallying to an eighth-place finish. Despite the chaos that normally breaks out at these larger tracks, the four-truck NCTS camp has a high record of top finishes and they look to continue on that momentum at Michigan with hopes of bringing home a victory and some top-five results too follow.

Qualifying will begin Friday at 8:05 p.m ET followed by the green flag will at 12:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1. Jack Wood Quote:
“I am ready for a new track for sure and I think this could be the deal that breaks our bad luck streak. I enjoy these larger tracks I just have not had the best luck on them and always seem to get caught up in the chaos. I think our main goal this weekend is to stay out of the mess, keep a clean truck and stay up front. These No. 91 guys have set up a pretty good intermediate package and I look forward to seeing what we can unload in Michigan.”
