Wood Looks to Turn His Luck Around in Vegas

Venue: Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Events: Ecosave 200
Date: Friday, March 14th
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Track Description: 1.5-mile tri-oval
Distance:134 laps, 201 miles (9:00 p.m. ET, FOX Sports 1, Motor Racing Network)
Return of Redemption … Jack Wood, driver of the No. 91 Adaptive One Calipers Chevrolet Silverado RST, returns to Las Vegas Motor Speedway making his first start at the paved oval since 2022 where he had an unfortunate lap-71 incident force his day to end early in Vegas. The young driver is looking to correct the string of bad luck at Vegas and gain a solid finish at the 1.5-mile oval.
Hot Momentum … Wood is coming off of a stellar run at Atlanta Motor Speedway before the two week break that led him to a top five qualifying run, first stage win of the season, leading a gaggle of laps but an unfortunate back of the pack finishing position after damage late on in the event hurt the No. 91 Chevrolet RST. The first two races of the season, the No. 91 team have started off so strong and carried great momentum through the race but end with a result that did not show the effort they put in. Wood and his team are ready to carry this moment through the race and hopefully stay in contention for a chance to make is to the winner’s circle.
New Faces … Adaptive One Calipers (ADO) will be returning this weekend to ride along side the No. 91 Chevrolet Silverado RST and are happy to welcome Berco Redwood to adorn the tailgate of the No. 91 truck. Berco Redwood is a family owned and run business that started back in 1982 as a modest deck and fence business. This company has grown into a premier lumber retail business with customer’s throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada.
Tune In … Television coverage on the Victoria’s Voice Foundation 200 will begin Friday afternoon with practice & qualifying starting at 3:35 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1. The green flag will drop at 9:00 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1. Stay connected with the No. 91 team by following @BMR_NASCAR on Twitter, @bmrnascar on Instagram, and Bill McAnally Racing on Facebook.
Jack Wood Quote:
“Las Vegas has not been that great to me in the past unfortunately but we are looking to turn those stats around this weekend and shake this string of bad luck off our tails. This team has put forth so much effort since the start of the season and it has been a shame to not get the results we have truly shown for throughout these races. I am excited to get back after the short break and see what this No. 91 Adaptive One Calipers Chevrolet can do in Vegas.”
