On Texas Time … Jack Wood, driver of the No. 91 Adaptive One Calipers Chevrolet Silverado RST heads to Texas Motor Speedway for only his third start at the 1.5-mile quad oval. In those two previous starts, the Loomis, Calif. native picked up a top-10 finish there back in 2023 finishing in the ninth position. Wood and the No. 91 team look to continue on there speed to Fort Worth in hopes to stay in contention to knock down another top-10 finish Friday night at Texas.
Season To Date … Wood has started breaking the barriers on his bad luck start to the season as the last two runs he has gained solid speed and momentum to carry on top finishes. The 24-year-old finished just outside the top 10 in 11th at Bristol Motor Speedway and came through last weekend with a seventh-place finish at Rockingham Speedway after knocking down track position and playing the fuel strategy just right along side his McAnally-Hilgemann Racing teammates who all finished inside the top 10. The young driver’s Rockingham effort bumped him up to 15th in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series point standings.

Jack Wood Quote:
“We have been on a really good run streak the last few races and I am looking forward to continuing that on at Texas. I have not been back to Texas since 2023 and we had a lot of speed there in the past. This No. 91 team has been working so hard and put so much into giving me fast trucks that there is no doubt in my mind, we will be able to unload another fast truck and stay in contention for a stout run in Fort Worth.”
