Fort Worth Forecast… Kris Wright and the No. 81 America’s Auto Auction team head to Fort Worth, Texas for the SpeedyCash.com 250, the seventh race of the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) season. The No. 81 McAnally-Hilgemann Racing (MHR) entry is coming off a 25th-place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) and turns its focus to the first traditional 1.5-mile track of the year. Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) marks the start of a stretch of six consecutive race weekends as Wright looks to gain ground in the NCTS points standings.

Texas Success… America’s Auto Auction will serve as the primary partner on the No. 81 Chevrolet Silverado RST for Friday night’s race. The company has partnered with Wright five times previously, including four starts at TMS. MHR has recorded five top-five and seven top-10 finishes at the track. MHR teammate Tyler Ankrum started from the pole and finished fourth in 2025 while Daniel Hemric finished second. Wright earned his best non-superspeedway result with a 12th place finish at Texas in 2023 and will look to improve on that result this weekend.

Season to Date… Through six races in the 2026 NCTS season, the No. 81 team ranks 20th in the standings. Wright’s best finish came at EchoPark Speedway, another 1.5-mile track. He holds an average finish of 23.2 and completed all but one lap across the first three races of the season.

Kris Wright Quote:

“I’m looking forward to having America’s Auto Auction on board for another race at Texas. This place has been relatively good to me, and I think we can really flip the script of our season starting this weekend. This No. 81 team has worked really hard all year long and I’m excited to go back to battle with them again Friday night.”
