Music City Season … Tyler Ankrum heads to Music City coming off the heels of another unfortunate finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Looking ahead, the young driver has had five previous NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) career starts at Nashville Superspeedway scoring one top five and three top-10 results. With an average finish of 12.0 at the 1.33-mile intermediate speedway, Ankrum is looking forward to the opportunity of the victory he has been chasing since the start of the 2026 season. Ullico is making their return as primary partner to ride along side the No. 18 Chevrolet for their second race of the 2026 season.

Positive Vibes … Despite the low finishing result of last weeks run at Charlotte, the No. 18 team achieved a lot of gains as a group and the vibes are high this week as we head to Nashville. The guys put together a great truck for Charlotte but with wet weather washing out practice and qualifying, the young driver was forced to start in the back and struggled with dirty air for the majority of the event. Another tough weekend to swallow but all focus forward and bigger opportunities for solid finishes ahead.

Spoiler Highlights … Tyler Ankrum and the No. 18 team are excited to welcome LIUNA local contractor Fisher Contracting Company to adorn the left-side spoiler at Nashville Superspeedway this Friday night under the lights. Fisher Contracting Company is a heavy/highway civil contractor, dedicated to quality construction, exceptional customer satisfaction, workplace safety, and supporting our local communities.

Tyler Ankrum Quote:

“Another tough weekend in Charlotte but we had a lot of improvement of the team side and I am super proud of everyone for hanging tough through the rainy weekend. It is difficult because the one weekend we get to race at home and the truck series was stuck at the track for three days. Bad deal for sure but we are moving on and headed to Nashville with Ullico back on board. I have had a lot of really solid finishes at that place so I am for sure looking forward to getting back there and getting a solid day under our belt for this No. 18 crew.”
