Ankrum has tallied one top-five finish back in 2020 where he finished fourth in the 107-lap run in the Irish Hills but has also had high qualifying efforts throughout those previous starts. The driver of the No. 18 LIUNA Chevrolet looks to continue his positive efforts and solidify a top result on Saturday.

Tyler Ankrum Quote:
“Last week was a good confidence builder for this No. 18 team and everyone did a great job to help secure that top five for us. Looking ahead to Michigan, I am looking forward to continuing our speed and momentum. Michigan is insanely fast definitely one of the more scary tracks we go to but it is a fun one. Super pumped to have LIUNA back on board and Iafrate Construction on the spoiler Saturday for their first run. The guys put together a pretty good piece for this weekend and I am confident that we can stay in contention for another solid day in Michigan.”
