| Intermediate Isolation… Mason Massey and the No. 19 Mongoose Power Solutions team head to Phoenix Raceway for race 12 of the 2026 ARCA Menards Series West (AMSW) season. The Diamond Desert Casino West Valley 100 will be the AMSW’s second visit to the one-mile oval this season. “The Desert Jewel” is coming off the ARCA Menards Series / AMSW combination event in March when Massey finished fifth-place in a stout 40-car field, the second highest West Series finisher. Phoenix Files… Massey’s 100-career NASCAR national series starts will serve well as the series heads back to the only intermediate oval on the schedule. The driver hailing from Douglasville, Ga. has three NASCAR Xfinity Series starts at Phoenix to his credit and his previous two races resulted in a finish at least 11 positions higher than where he started. Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) has recorded five wins with five different drivers at Phoenix since 2002. The team’s most recent AMSW championship title came in 2021, when 2027 NASCAR Cup Series driver Jesse Love clinched the championship at Phoenix Raceway. Season to Date… With two races to go in the AMSW season, Massey sits third in the championship standings, three points out from the second position. Massey has achieved two wins, seven top-five’s, and eight top-10s to this point in the season. He has led 36 laps and carries an average finish of 7.1. Approaching the final two races at repeat tracks, Massey and the Mongoose Power Solutions team are confident they can get back to victory lane before the season wraps up. Tune In… Coverage from Avondale, Ariz. begins at 8:00 p.m. MST (11:00 p.m. ET) on FloRacing for the Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 100 at Phoenix Raceway. Mason Massey Quote: “I am really optimistic for this weekend, because we got to race here back in March with a super tough field and we finished top-five. Now, not only do we have notes from the spring race, but our speed has improved tremendously on the short tracks in the last three or so races that I hope will transfer over to Phoenix. It’s a track that’s much more in my wheelhouse with my NASCAR experience, so I’m looking forward to it.. This is Mongoose Power Solutions’ last race this year, so hopefully we can get them back in victory lane like we did at Kern.” |
