Deegan Returns to Portland Ready to Compete

| Portland Preview… Hailie Deegan and the No. 16 Columbia Bank team are set for Saturday’s Portland 112 at Portland International Raceway (PIR). The event marks the eighth race of the 2026 ARCA Menards Series West (AMSW) season for Deegan and the Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) team. The Temecula, Calif., native brings previous experience at PIR with one NASCAR Xfinity Series start and one Indy NXT start. Road Course Recap… Deegan is no stranger to road courses, making 11 starts during the 2025 Indy NXT season in addition to 15 NASCAR road course starts. In 2022, she earned a 10th-place finish in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Mid-Ohio. She also recorded seventh- and eighth-place finishes with BMR in AMSW competition at Sonoma Raceway in 2018 and 2019, respectively, after starting from the pole in the 2019 event. Deegan’s experience on road courses across multiple levels of motorsports provides a strong foundation as she looks to contend Saturday at PIR. Season to Date… With six races remaining in the 2026 AMSW season, Deegan enters Saturday’s Portland 112 seventh in the championship standings with four top-10 finishes and an average finish of 10.3 through seven races. The No. 16 Columbia Bank Chevrolet SS has shown speed throughout the year, and another strong road course performance could provide momentum heading into the final stretch of the season.
