Portland Prowl… Mason Massey will strap back into his BRUNT Workwear Chevrolet SS Saturday evening for the Portland 112 at Portland International Raceway (PIR). PIR marks the eighth ARCA Menards Series West (AMSW) race of the season and the second consecutive road course event following the contest at Sonoma Raceway in late June. The 1.980-mile road course has hosted 11 AMSW races dating back to 1986 and has been a consistent stop on the schedule since 2021. Five different manufacturers have won at PIR, but Massey looks to deliver Chevrolet its third AMSW victory at the circuit.

Road Course Speed… On Saturday, Massey will climb aboard his No. 19 BRUNT Workwear Chevrolet SS for his third career road course start. The Douglasville, Ga., native will have another opportunity to sharpen his road racing skills while contending for the win. Massey and his BRUNT Workwear team showed strong speed at Sonoma, charging to third before suffering a broken rear gear on lap 27. The team has since gone to work preparing for PIR, where it looks to contend for BMR’s second win of the season.

Season to Date… Six races remain in the 2026 AMSW season, beginning with Saturday’s event at PIR. Massey is currently tied for second in the AMSW championship standings. Through seven races, the No. 19 BRUNT Workwear team has recorded one win, five top-five finishes, and has led 32 laps. Massey’s average starting position of 5.7 ranks third among full-time AMSW drivers. The No. 19 BMR entry has carried the BRUNT Workwear colors once before this season at Phoenix Raceway, where Massey rallied from 14th to finish in the top five against a strong 40-car field.

Tune In… Coverage from Portland, Ore. begins at 9:00 p.m. ET on FloRacing (www.floracing.com) for the Portland 112 at Portland International Raceway. Mason Massey Quote:
“I’m certainly feeling more confident and comfortable to go road course racing again. We had a fast NAPA Auto Care Chevrolet at Sonoma, hopefully we can transfer that speed over to our Brunt Workwear Chevrolet SS this Saturday at Portland. Since then, I’ve put in a lot of work studying Sonoma and getting feedback from the guys in the truck shop to prepare for Portland, so it should be a good one.”
