| Mason Massey finished fifth in Saturday’s ARCA Menards Series West (AMSW) race at Tri-City Raceway, earning his fourth top-five finish through the first six races of the 2026 season. After starting sixth, Massey settled into seventh during the opening stages of the 150-lap event. Despite battling a lack of overall speed and drive off the corners on the challenging half-mile oval, the No. 19 NAPA Nightvision team remained inside the top 10 throughout the first half of the race. Massey advanced to sixth after passing teammate Hailie Deegan and reached the scheduled halfway break in that position. The team serviced the car with four tires and fuel during the break before Massey restarted sixth on Lap 80. He quickly moved into a battle for fifth and continued to gain ground on the cars ahead during the second half of the event. Running fifth when a caution slowed the field on Lap 103, Massey maintained his position through a late-race red flag and restart. He spent the closing laps defending fifth place and took the checkered flag in the same position. Mason Massey Quote: “We didn’t quite have the speed we needed tonight with our NAPA Nightvision Chevrolet SS. I feel like we made the most of it tonight, and we’ll take another top-5 finish. This No. 19 NAPA Nightvision team is going to get back to work as we look toward Sonoma, our first road course race of the 2026 season.” |
