Familiar Colors … Tyler Ankrum, driver of the No. 18 Ullico Chevrolet Silverado RST, is eager to welcome back the familiar red, white and blue color way of standing partner Ullico to ride along side the No. 18 this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway for the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) event. Over 95 years ago, labor leaders formed The Union Labor Life Insurance Company to provide financial security to the movement’s members and their families. Ullico is partnered with LIUNA to provide that financial security to all union brothers and sisters and have been a strong partner of Ankrum’s since 2024.
“It’s Bristol Baby” … The San Bernardino, Calif. native is no stranger to the high-banked, concrete oval as he has nine previous NCTS career starts at “The Last Great Colosseum”. The young driver has tallied four top-10 and two top-five finishes with a best of fourth coming at this event last Spring. Ankrum has a true talent for the short tracks and is hoping to stay in contention to solidify his first victory of the season this Friday night under the lights.
Spoiler Highlights … Ankrum and the No. 18 team are excited to welcome aboard LIUNA local contractor Renascent Demolition to adorn the left-side spoiler in Friday night’s 250-lap event at Bristol Motor Speedway. Renascent is a certified woman-owned business with roots 40 years deep. They are experiencing steady growth, thanks to they’re reputation as trustworthy leaders in the demolition and recycling industry. Renascent has a well-earned reputation for completing projects on time, on budget, and with no OSHA citations. Every step of their demolition process focuses on eliminating and mitigating risk. They empower their teams to speak up, think creatively, make smart decisions, and look out for one another.

Tyler Ankrum Quote:
“Man, I am so ready to get back to Bristol. This track and I have danced around each other for years now and I am ready to get that sword. We had a great finish last week at Rockingham and I am hopeful we can keep this momentum headed into Bristol this weekend. Mark (Hillman, crew chief) and the guys have put together a really good piece for this race and I know we can go out there and contend for the top spot, for sure. It’s great to have Ullico back on the truck this weekend and we have a lot of folks coming from LIUNA as well so looking forward to a great night.”
