All Green in Tennessee … Daniel Hemric has the green light this week at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) with a fresh look and stout history at the “World’s Fastest Half Mile”. The No. 19 will debut an unmistakable green and white color scheme with Arnott Suspension Products making their first appearance in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Trucks Series (NCTS) with NAPA Auto Care. Hemric has a proven track record at both short tracks and BMS and will be one of the series regulars capable of outlasting the NASCAR Cup Series invaders to claim the final $50,000 Triple Truck Challenges bonus.
Blitzing at Bristol … In the NCTS’ most recent visit to “Thunder Valley”, Hemric delivered a sturdy performance at the high-banked colosseum with a fifth-place effort in the second race of the 2025 playoffs. In his four NCTS outings at BMS, Hemric has racked up three top-five finishes and led eight laps in the only race he finished outside the top five – 13th in last year’s spring event. His consistency held serve on Saturdays too, with three top-five’s and six top-10 finishes over eight Bristol starts in the former NASCAR Xfinity Series. Hemric’s short-track pedigree also includes his NCTS victory at Martinsville Speedway last year and hopes to add a second sword from “The Last Great Colosseum” to MHR’s trophy case.
Season to Date … Hemric and the No. 19 Arnott Suspension Products team are eager to shake the bad luck that’s plagued them through five races. After an unscheduled pit stop last week at Rockingham Speedway, Hemric sits 18th in the NCTS standings yet well within reach of the provision Chase cutline, only 23 points behind. He has captured two top-10 finishes this season at the St. Petersburg street course and Darlington Raceway.
Tune In … On-track action from BMS gets underway with practice and qualifying on FOX Sports 2 at 3:30 p.m. ET on Friday afternoon. Race coverage switches to FOX Sports 1 at 7:30 p.m. ET. Daniel Hemric Quote:
On the first short track race of 2026 at Bristol:
“Bristol is always a fun weekend. We say it all the time, but everything seems like it happens quicker at Bristol than anywhere else. I’ve been fortunate to run well in the truck and Xfinity cars, and we ran fifth there last fall. Hopefully we can improve on that this weekend with our Arnott Suspension Products Chevy. We’ve got to shake this bad luck we’ve made for ourselves and execute a smooth night on Friday. We can certainly do that, and we’ve had the pace good enough to run towards the front. Bristol is a track that always seems to transition during the truck race, especially with the PJ1 on the bottom lane. Hopefully we can qualify well, manage the race the right way and get ourselves into the top-five by the end of the night.”
