Put a Period on It … Daniel Hemric looks to emphasize his first season with MHR and put a period on a solid 2025 campaign in Friday’s finale at Phoenix Raceway. The driver of the No. 19 NAPA Auto Care Chevrolet Silverado RST sits eighth in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Trucks Series (NCTS) standings as a sturdy season of consistency positioned him in the championship battle until last week. Two incidents in consecutive weeks at Talladega Superspeedway and Martinsville Speedway bounced him out of the Championship 4 round, but Hemric hopes to return to victory lane in the desert for the second time in his career and assist MHR teammate Tyler Ankrum in the title fight.

Phoenix Flashback … The most prolific moment in Hemric’s career occurred at the desert mile in 2021. The North Carolinian executed a heroic last-corner, last-lap maneuver to capture his first-career NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) victory and the championship in one fell swoop. Hemric has been a consistent performer at the mile track in his NXS career which included 12 starts, three top-five’s, and eight top-10 finishes in Phoenix. He enters Phoenix with 10 top-five results to his credit, and hopes to equal his career-high of 11 by recording a second victory in the Arizona desert.

Season to Date … Hemric arrives at the season finale eighth in the NCTS drivers’ point standings and can finish as high as sixth, 19 markers behind. He has constructed a consistent campaign with 10 top-five’s, 15 top-10’s, and a victory in the spring race at Martinsville Speedway. His average finish of 11.0 is fifth best among full-time NCTS competitors.

Tune In … Coverage from Phoenix begins at 3:30 p.m. ET with pole qualifying on FOX Sports 2, followed by the season finale green flag at 7:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1. Daniel Hemric Quote:

On wrapping up the season in Phoenix:

“This 19 team gave everything they had this year. We wish our NAPA Auto Care Chevrolet was in the final four, but it wasn’t meant to be. Our group kept digging this week to put in the effort to make sure we have a truck capable of winning and ending the season on a positive note. We’ve had some trying times this year, some good successes, but we’d love nothing more than to run up front and finish the year off with another win. Hopefully we can give ourselves a shot at it and do everything we can to be an asset to Tyler Ankrum and the 18 team.”
