| Pre-Season Test… Fresh off the off-week, Kris Wright and the No. 81 F.N.B. Corporation team for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing (MHR) set their sights on Rockingham Speedway for the Black’s Tire 200 on Friday afternoon. The MHR camp showed strong speed during the preseason test in February, giving the team a solid baseline heading into the weekend. Wright and the No. 81 truck worked alongside their teammates, collecting notes and building toward the Easter weekend showdown at “The Rock.” Capitalize on Chaos… Wright looks to rebound after an early end to his race at Darlington Raceway. MHR has shown strength at Rockingham, where all four trucks finished inside the top-10 last season, highlighted by teammate Tyler Ankrum’s win. Wright competed in the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Rockingham, which featured 14 cautions and 13 DNFs. He was in position for a Top-15 result before being collected in an incident with three laps remaining. Season to Date… Four races into the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) season, the No. 81 F.N.B. Corporation team sits 22nd in the standings. Prior to Darlington, Wright had completed all but one lap in the first three events and showed early consistency. His best finish of the year came at EchoPark Speedway with an 18th-place result. Qualifying remains an area of focus, as his two strongest starting positions have led to his best finishes. Tune In… Coverage from Rockingham begins Friday with practice on FOX Sports 2 at 11:00 a.m. ET, followed by qualifying at 12:05 p.m. ET. Live coverage of the Black’s Tire 200 will air on Fox Sports 1 at 4:30 p.m. ET. Stay connected with the No. 81 F.N.B. Kris Wright Quote: “I’m looking forward to getting back out to Rockingham this weekend after the test we had there in February. After how our race went at Darlington, it feels good to have another opportunity to get behind the wheel of our F.N.B. Corporation Chevrolet. The team has put in a lot of work to bring a solid piece, and this is a good chance for us to put a full race together. We have focused on completing laps and putting ourselves in position to take advantage of opportunities. |
