| A Day at the Park … Kris Wright and McAnally-Hilgemann Racing (MHR) make their way to New England for a Saturday stroll through Lime Rock Park (LRP) for round 14 of the 2026 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) season. Coming off of his best finish of the season, the Pittsburgh, Pa. native is set for a second consecutive road course race following the battle on Naval Base Coronado in June. The seven turn Connecticut circuit plays host to the NCTS accompanied by the ARCA Menards Series in the July 11th race weekend. Wright will carry the colors of Warranty Solutions who debuts on the No. 81 truck starting this weekend at Lime Rock Park. One Last Road Race … The Lakeville, Conn. circuit marks the fourth and final road course on the NCTS schedule. Wright has four previous starts at LRP dating back to 2016, earning two top-five finishes in Pirelli World Challenge competition before adding a runner-up finish in the 2017 Mazda Prototype Challenge. After recording a season-best 13th-place finish at Naval Base Coronado, Wright looks to use his previous success at LRP as a springboard to another strong points day on Saturday. Season to Date … The NCTS officially passed the halfway point of the season at Naval Base Coronado, where Wright and the No. 81 Warranty Solutions team recorded a season-best 13th-place finish. The result marked Wright’s fifth top-20 finish of the year as the series heads to Connecticut. Two of Wright’s five top-20 finishes this season have come on road courses, as he looks to close the road course slate on a high note. Tune In … Coverage from Lakeville, Conn. begins Saturday with practice on FOX Sports 2 at 9 a.m. ET before moving to FOX Sports 1 at 9:30 a.m. ET, followed by qualifying at 10:05 a.m. ET. Kris Wright Quote: On the last road course of 2026: “It’s unfortunate this is the final road course of the season because road racing is my wheelhouse and some of the most enjoyable racing we do. We had an up-and-down day in San Diego but still came away with our best finish of the year. We’re looking to put together a complete day at Lime Rock and build on that result. Qualifying will be important, and I know MHR will give me a fast Warranty Solutions Chevrolet.” |
