| Circle City Check-In… Kris Wright and the No. 81 F.N.B. Corporation / iHeartRadio team head to Indianapolis for round 16 of the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) season and the TSport 200 at Indianapolis Raceway Park (IRP). The Brownsburg, Ind. short track has hosted NASCAR racing since 1982 and NCTS competition since the series debuted in 1995. Following an 11-year hiatus, the series returned to IRP in 2022. Since then, McAnally-Hilgemann Racing (MHR) has made 13 starts at the facility and will field four Chevrolet Silverado RSTs this weekend, including the No. 81 F.N.B. Corporation / iHeartRadio entry. Teaming Up… Wright enters the weekend with one previous NCTS start at IRP in 2022 and one ARCA Menards Series (AMS) start at the facility. The Pittsburgh, Pa. native earned a sixth-place finish in ARCA competition and has also collected top-five finishes at Toledo Speedway and Berlin Raceway, two short tracks with similar characteristics. Of MHR’s 13 starts at IRP, teammate Christian Eckes recorded a pair of runner-up finishes. Tyler Ankrum added fourth- and eighth-place finishes in 2024 and 2025, while Daniel Hemric finished seventh in 2025. Following last weekend’s race at North Wilkesboro, the four-truck organization will work together to build on its short-track speed heading into Friday night’s race. Season to Date… Fifteen races into the 2026 NCTS season, Wright has recorded six top-20 finishes and sits 21st in the championship standings with two races remaining before the Playoffs. The No. 81 F.N.B. Corporation / iHeartRadio team trails the top-20 in the championship standings by 25 points and will look to begin closing that gap Friday night at IRP. Tune In… Coverage from Brownsburg begins Friday with practice on FOX Sports 1 (FS1) at 3:00 p.m. ET, followed by qualifying at 4:05 p.m. ET. Live coverage of the TSport 200 will air on FS1 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Stay connected with the No. 81 F.N.B. Corporation / iHeart Radio team by following @BMR_NASCAR on X, @bmr_nascar on Instagram and Bill McAnally Racing on Facebook. Kris Wright Quote: “IRP is going to be a challenging race, for sure. The surface is so worn out, and it feels like there’s trucks all around you every lap. There’s not much room to race, so it’s going to be a battle from the drop of the green flag. It should put on a great show for the fans, and I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of our F.N.B. Corporation / iHeartRadio machine Friday night.” |
